Tour Itinerary
Depart from Samarkand in the morning and drive to the Uzbekistan–Tajikistan border.
The border is crossed on foot. The walking section is around 600 meters, and border formalities usually take about 30–40 minutes, although waiting times can vary.
After crossing into Tajikistan, meet our local driver and continue toward Panjakent and the Seven Lakes.
During the Seven Lakes Tour from Samarkand, you will travel through the Shing Valley and visit the chain of mountain lakes.
The road continues up to Lake 7, when road and weather conditions allow.
There will be stops for photos, viewpoints and short walks. No difficult trekking is required.
